nexicpolarityNexus Prime is the guardian of a substance known as Rarified Energon. This is more than just a purified energon; this is the source of all Cybertronian life. A single drop is enough to create a spark - and the chassis to contain it.
This is what will eventually house Primus, within Cybertron's core.
Having total and complete control over shaping this - and other variants of energon - Nexus Prime has an incredible power over the Cybertronian form. Indeed, to the point of being thought of as the 'Wizard of Forms', Nexus's own body is constantly shifting, rearranging itself in some way or another as it reacts to the Rarified Energon he carries within it. Always changing, never constant, Nexus seems capable of assuming any altmode at will - or to even split himself in to multiple components, all independant of one another though they may still have one mind.
To say nothing of affecting another - Nexus can change another Cybertronian's form with ease, manipulating the Rarified Energon within their own bodies. And to combine them with another, syncing their sparks to serve as one entity - as well as splitting them again, no worse for the wear. Though if they are made worse by wear, damaged over time or by injury...it only takes so much focus for Nexus to restore them, truly healing them to what they once were.
They may or may not sport a few alterations, though. Whether Nexus does this on purpose or by his own subconscious desire to change remains to be seen. Note that he does have to be in physical contact with another in order to change them.
If one's body is damaged beyond repair, though - or if he simply takes a mood - Nexus is capable of separating the spark from the chassis, carrying it while it is still intact to either put in to another vessel...or to simply hold in stasis. And while he could, hypothetically, change a spark - alter its makeup, its personality - aside from going against his morals, it requires an intricate finesse that he finds himself too impatient to bother with, more often than not.
It is worth noting that Nexus's powers, for the most part, apply to Cybertronians and Transformers only. Those without a trace of Rarified Energon will find themselves pratically immune to the aforementioned abilities. This is not to say that Nexus is powerless against them - when all else is said and done, he is perhaps the largest of the Firstforged, and with a compariable strength. His sheer power should never be underestimated, and if he absolutely must flee, he can spacebridge himself to safety.
And, at least, he can manipulate standard energon with ease; creating shields and blasts and weapons to defend himself in combat with those he can't otherwise affect.
